As Xeleos Consulting has built a very strong leadership in developing a roadmap to help organizations in optimizing inventories we are looking for a Senior Consultant with a broad view o n Supply Chain Management but with a good knowledge of inventory management.
Function: What we are looking for
You will lead Supply Chain improvement projects at the customer site from the analysis of the current situation through the design of the solution up to its implementation.
Responsibilities include the overall planning, organizing, directing, controlling and delivery of the projects prioritized in alignment with the client’s expectations and business needs.
You will understand the customer’s needs and requirements and will be able to structure and translate them into Business Solutions. During the project you will also gradually build a preferred relationship of trust with several contacts within the customer organization through your competence and empathy for the their situation.
You are able to effectively coach people, to manage and inspire a team an d to manage resistance to change in order to reach the project targets.
Part of these projects is also giving support on information technology. In the area of information technology we work with Slim 4 of Slimstock which is the leading Inventory Optimisation tool. Therefore part of the job will be supporting the implementation of Slim4 as project manager. Your aim will be to build enough expertise in order to develop an own Slim4 practice within Xeleos.
There is a large variety of projects, customers, industries and markets offering a thoroughly diversified scope.
Your Profile: What we expect
You are passionate for Supply Chain Excellence.
You have 5 years relevant project experience in the industry and/or in consulting in the Supply Chain Management area.
You have an expertise in inventory management and in practices like Forecasting, MRP, ABC Analysis
You have particular expertise in one of our main service domains: Supply Chain Strategy, Supply Chain Optimisation, Distribution Logistics Excellence and Business Process Excellence
You have at least a bachelor degree. Having a CPIM or CSCP-degree is a plus.
You have good analytical and problem solving skills, you can rely on organizational and people management skills and have project management experience.
You have a good understanding of supporting information technology (ERP solutions like SAP, Axapta)
You are no-nonsense, open and direct in communication
You are fluent in Dutch and English, and have a very good working knowledge of French.
