Data management in Supply Chain planning
Data-driven supply chain management assumes high quality data. All too often, this assumption does not hold and causes errors, additional work and problems for supply chain managers to resolve.
The discipline of data management is gaining a lot of attention in many functional areas, especially supply chain management. The benefits of well managed data not only prevents issues in the supply chain, it can also provide a competitive edge.
Thomas De Mil will introduce the topic for 20 minutes and present statements for discussion. The main results thereof will be shared in the form of general conclusions.
Thomas De Mil has broad scientific background and excellent people skills. Thomas has hands on knowledge in (master) data management and tooling such as Anaplan, spreadsheet (incl. VBA and power functionalities: BI, query and pivot), SQL, R, SPSS, Minitab, VBS and Python.
