Become a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
What is LSS?
Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is known as the most powerful continuous improvement method that combines Lean and Six Sigma to increase process quality and efficiency. Lean is all about creating value and eliminating waste for the customer, whilst improving employee satisfaction. Six sigma, on the other hand, is a data-driven approach to eliminate variation in the business process. Different ‘belts’ are used to indicate the different levels of competence and responsibilities.
Excellent companies in almost all sectors of industry and service environments prove that the approach works. This obviously increases the competitive pressure on the companies that have not yet discovered Lean Six Sigma.
But success in Lean Six Sigma is not just up for grabs.
Become a problem solving champion!
This blended e-learning training will take you through a set of powerful results-oriented improvement methods that combine Lean and Six Sigma to increase process quality and efficiency. This piece-meal methodology teaches how to break-down the voice of the customer and implement that voice effectively into the operations of your clients or business. Looking in detail at processes, product streams and management systems, using statistical tools to analyse and improve them.
Theoretical explanations will be combined with practical examples in Engineroom (statistical software). After completing the course exam and project, you will receive a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate by PwC and Logflow.
LSS Black Belt
Different ‘belts’ are used to indicate the different levels of competence and responsibilities. As a LSS Black Belt, you are a true LSS expert. You master all tools, concepts and the methodology. You can successfully lead improvement projects, realise sustainable results and coach others.
To become a LSS Black Belt, you have to learn the theory and prove you can apply this in practice.
Program
PICS Belgium, PwC and Logflow offer a unique people and results oriented program that will deliver results. During this program you will get a very deep understanding of Lean Six Sigma. You will learn the theory and also how to apply it in practice. The theoretical part is covered by an intense e-learning (140 hours) and hands-on classroom training. While the classroom training focuses already a lot on putting the theory into practice, the real test is in successfully finishing an improvement project. Afterwards, the PwC and Logflow certification board, consisting of Master black belts (BB), will evaluate the project and decide on the certification.
An approach that combines e-learning and hands-on classroom training. The combination of e-learning, classroom training and a certification project is used to fully engage participants, apply theory in practice and keep the focus on delivering results.
