The heart of the European capital beat with excitement on the 16th of November 2023 as the 18th edition of the Supply Chain Awards unfolded at the Event Lounge, organized by PICS Belgium in collaboration with Supply Chain Masters. With more than 250 distinguished professionals from the procurement and supply chain industries in attendance, the event proved to be a nexus of innovation, collaboration, and celebration of outstanding achievements.

Unit-T’s Utility Operations Enhancement through AI-Driven Efficiency project takes Center Stage with “Supply Chain Project of the Year – Prize of the Jury”

The coveted “Supply Chain Project of the Year – Prize of the Jury” was secured by Unit-T, whose project exemplifies how the integration of AI within the supply chain can achieve remarkable efficiency gains – both in terms of human productivity and cost control – while ensuring the highest standards of quality at scale. Their innovative approach and impactful project left an indelible mark on the judging panel, comprised of esteemed industry leaders and experts. 

Goods to Give’s network optimization project clinches “Supply Chain Project of the Year – Prize of the Audience” 

One of the evening’s most anticipated moments was the announcement of the “Supply Chain Project of the Year – Prize of the Audience.” The honour went to Goods to Give with their network optimization project, a young Belgian nonprofit organization dedicated to the fight against poverty. They captured the hearts and minds of the audience with their exemplary supply chain project where through a digital and logistical platform charities gain access to unsold non-food surplus items. The award underscored Goods to Give’s commitment to addressing industry challenges and their ability to resonate with peers and industry experts. 

Optioryx: A Rising Star as “Start-Up of the Year” 

In recognition of entrepreneurial spirit and potential, Optioryx was crowned “Start-Up of the Year.” Their project “Dimmy” – the first mobile SKU and pallet dimensioner highlighted Optioryx’s emergence as a promising force in the supply chain sector, poised to make significant contributions to the industry’s future.
