On 22 February 2024, the Belgian supply chain professionals gathered for an inspiring evening on leadership and coaching with keynote Ann Wauters.

Keynote speaker Ann Wauters

Ann Wauters was for many years the captain of the Belgium Cats, our national women’s basketball team. She has an extensive record: won the EuroLeage 4 times, the EuroCup once, the World Cup for Clubs 2 times, 11 national titles, including in the WNBA (Women’s National Basketball Association), and was voted European Basketball Player of the Year 5 times. In 2021, after the Tokyo Olympics, she put an end to her illustrious playing career. Since spring 2022, she has been assistant coach of the Chicago Sky women’s team in the WNBA.

Ann is an ambassador for SOS Children’s Villages and the Red Cross. Her free time goes to her family and cycling.

As a keynote speaker, mainly for companies, she provides insights on coaching leadership. How to inspire and motivate a team as a leader. She is also developing a mentorship programme for young basketball players.
