The LOG!VILLE experience focuses on two components.
On the one hand the visitor is immersed in the warehouse and distribution technology of the future, giving an overview of new techniques developed today and the ones that are expected to play a role in the future.
The second part consists of a visit to the physical demo centre, where new but usable technology is demonstrated to the visitor. We see picking robots at work, drones, smart glasses, AMR and more.
PICS Belgium will in a presentation highlight these technologies in the warehouses of today and tomorrow, giving also the reasons based on international research, why we should consider these kind of techniques.

- 13.30 Presentation by Jan De Kimpe: “trends in warehouse logistics, reasons to evaluate new technologies on their usability and applications of the different techniques”.
- 14.00 Guided tour through the physical demo centre
- 15.20 Break with a drink
- 15.40 Visit of the technology of the future room, guided tour at your own pace with an individual tablet
- 17.00 End
